FAQ

DO WE HAVE TO WAIT UNTIL A NEW TERM STARTS TO JOIN?

No, absolutely not, you can join us whenever! Please don’t wait if you are ready to start.  We will adjust fees accordingly, for the number of weeks you will be attending.

DO I HAVE TO BOOK OR CAN I JUST TURN UP?

You must book so we are ready to welcome you. You will need to fill out our registration form for health and safety reasons.

WHO CAN JOIN?

Absolutely EVERYONE!!! We welcome all age 1 upwards to join our school.

DO YOU OFFER A TRIAL CLASS?

Yes, we do, you can book your two week trial here.

ARE PARENTS/GUARDIANS OR CARERS ALLOWED TO WATCH ANY CLASSES?

Unfortunately not, we feel our students relax and enjoy their lessons much more without spectators, as it can be very distracting for them. However, our baby ballet parents must be present in all classes. We do understand it may be daunting for our new starters; however, you will be surprised at how quickly they settle. If a new student is shy or nervous, parents can take their child into the lesson and stay with them until they are settled. We hold a presentation evening and many performance opportunities for parents, family, and friends to watch their progress.

DOES MY CHILD HAVE TO TAKE EXAMINATIONS?

No, exams are completely optional, however, they are encouraged. It allows the children to work towards something and focus, and we feel it is a hugely rewarding experience for them. From grades 6 upwards, UCAS points are gained to help our students with applications to Performing Arts Colleges and Universities.

Yes! They really are a huge part of our school! We put on yearly full-scale Musicals and a summer show! Throughout the year, there will be many other performance opportunities at local events and festivals. Children love to perform, and that is why we give them so many opportunities to do so!

CAN MY CHILD JUST JOIN FOR FUN?
